ELaN project releases 6th discussion paper on regionalization of CO2 emissions in lower peatlands
The aim of this study was to determine the CO2 release of typical peat land soils in the region of Berlin and Brandenburg under different land use conditions. In addition, land use scenarios for the next decade were predicted. For these purposes, the following representative peatland sites were analyzed within this study: Randow-Welse-Niederung, Bieselfließ, Hundekehlefenn and Lietzengraben-Niederung.
